A New Blog Award

Here's another award that I'm so honored to receive. It's say's I'm a treasured friend and what makes it more valuable is that I received it from two wonderful cyber friends: Michelle (Michelle's angels) and Lisa (Aleah's mommy).

The rules are simple..pass it on to 5 Treasured Friends. Oh! Well, Michelle and Lisa and two of my friends in cyberspace and I will definitely pass it back to them.

There are a lot that I can put in here but here are my treasured friends in cyberspace that I hope I will see face to face someday:

Lynnette (http://lynettesphotoart.blogspot.com/)
Lisa (http://aleahsmommy.blogspot.com/)
Michelle (http://www.michelles-angels.blogspot.com/)
Deb (http://thescrappincop.blogspot.com/)

Another Award, Yippee!

Here's another award from Michelles . As she said we seem to be exchanging awards every other week, LOL.

The rules for this one is to say 7 things that I love and then pass it on to 7 people...

There are so many stuff that I love (My Lord and Savior, My family, friends, etc.) but I guess, I'll just put here seven things that I love that really make my day:

1. a beautiful garden with lots of butterflies flying around

2. sky filled with stars

3. hearing children's laughter

4. looking to old photographs

5. seeing and chatting with old friends

6. seeing my husband coming home at the end of day

7. my blog and 4shared files filled with nice comments, LOL

Now, I'm going to pass this to seven blogs which have distinctive designs. I love the background that they used in their blogs (those on the sides)--they are not the usual templates that are available (like the one in my blog, LOL). Go and see their blogs to see what I mean.

I've been tagged and has been given an award

Blog Award, Hurray!

Lady Queen has given me an award two weeks ago. She knew what happened to me and I told her I would be posting this as well as I will pass this award as soon as I can. Now, the time has come. I'm so honored to have this award.

This is called the "Proximidade Award" or "Friendship Around the World Award". Originally this award was written in Spanish, but it translates to highlight blogs that are pleasing or special in some way, and also to extend the hand of friendship around the world.

Now, I am supposed to pass this award onto either 6 or 8 other blogs.

Through digital scrapbooking, I was able to establish ties with some individuals. Some of them are even praying for me and has given me encouragement in times of trials.

Vicki- http://digilovers-addiction.blogspot.com/

Another Blog Award, Yahoo!

The next award also came from Lady Queen. I also love this one.

Now, I'm passing along this award to other scrappers, Friends, artist etc. Though it doesn't say how many blogs do I need to pass this on so I'm gonna give myself the liberty to give it to those special blogs that really touch my heart because of their openness to share their lives (they really blog) and beliefs (share their faith for instance) to other people. They just don't give digital scrapping freebies but they share and inspire others as well through their stories. They also share their pictures/LOs for the whole world to see, that I think is something that puts a "heart" to a blog--you allow strangers to know who you are. I see it as a way of extending one's hand to find friends in cyberspace. Now, that means I'll have a longer list here.

Note: This is just me, to those whom I will pass this on, you may not follow my criteria. I guess, for you it's okay to pass it on to only two or three persons.

Just a Few Question

Lisa (http://aleahsmommy.blogspot.com/) sent me a few question also on the first on the first week of October, LOL. So here they are:

1. How long have you been using PSP? I don't actually use PSP, I only know how to use PSD.

2. How did I get into tag making, Scrapkits? I used to be a CT member and I make a lot a QPs. Somehow, I want a little more challenge so just thought making a kit since there are resources that I can use using provided by "the ephemeral victorian" blog--that blog has already closed.

3. Who's my favorite artist/s? Same as Item #4 below.

4. Who are my favorite scrap designers? I have a lot of favorites among them are: April Cotton (aprilsscrapaholic)--she offers variety on her kits, from digitally made to extracted elements; Lonetta Avelar'(Creative Victorian)--her kits are very elegant; Kimberly Bartlett (fishinmom Designs)--they are very versatile, you can use one kit in so many layouts; Carolyn Kite (Srap-N-tag)--very original, I think she's the first designer who ever made the first element/frame/border clusters; Kristi Westling (Scrappin Diva)--her kits are so enchanting; Kim Broedelet (KimB's Design)--she has very unique kits with lots of elements that will make you say "wow!"; Boo Silva (Booland's Design)--very much like KimB's, she makes awesome kits too; Jannidee (JanniscrapDesign)--her kits are always fresh and one of a kind; Deb (thescrappincop)--she's the digiscrapping world's CU Freebie Queen and you will really wonder where she gets all the time and inspiration to create wonderful templates (she's really amazing); Linda Walton (bonscrapatitdesigns)--she makes very lovely kits that are big enough (the number of elements and papers) to make an entire album; and of course, Joni Gray--she's very creative and she never runs out of kit and QPs to make that are just beautiful and very useful.

5. Who's blog do I go to everyday? Not everyday but just as often as I can--let's just say I'm their regular blog reader. Sometimes I'm busy with other stuffs or I'm away so I wasnt able to visit them on a daily basis but I see to it that I'm updated with the buzz in these people's blog whenever I can: Lynnette (Lynette's photoart), Michelle (Michelle's Angel), Lisa (Aleah's Mom); Lady Queen; Candy Marcum (Scraps of Candy); Vicki (Digilover); Deb (Digital-Keepsake); Charlie (charliesdigiscraps); Shannon (shannersfamilyscrapsstuff); Joni Gray, Kim Scrapping, and those that I mentioned in item 4 (above)--April Cotton, KimB's, Netta, Kimberly Bartlett, Kristi Wesling, Carolyn Kite, Joni Gray, Boo Silva, and Jannidee.

Now, to pass this on to 3 people:

Deb - http://thescrappincop.blogspot.com/
Joni Gray - http://jonigray.blogspot.com/

Another Brilliant Blog Award

Thanks, Vicki for this award.

Now it's my turn to nominate blogs.

The rules of the award are:

1. The winner can put the logo on her blog.

2. Link the person you received your award from.

3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.

4. Put links of those blogs on yours.

5. Leave a message on the blogs of the girls you've nominated

Again, there are so many blogs that I found brilliant so I'm having some difficulty here. So, I will use the same criteria that i used the last time for my nominations.

Again, my nominees my not follow these criteria since I only made this up to help me decide among so many brilliant blogs I read.

Now, here are my criteria:

1. The blog contains some blogging - I love reading what's happening in a blogger's life. It establishes connection with the blog reader even if the blogger and the reader do not know each other personally. In fact, I'm more up to date about what's happening in some of my favorite bloggers life than with my former classmates/officemates. A blog in the first place is about journaling. That's why in my LOs/freebies I would really include some journaling on them. That makes the freebies/LOs personal (just my opinion).

2. The blog has some wonderful freebies - Sometimes, the reason why I find a new blog is because of the digisrapping freebies that I can grab from them, LOL.

3. The blog has something interesting in them other than digital scrapbooking--the music, freebie list, awesome LOs, life inspiration, etc. (go figure out what I found in my list that are more than simply blogging, freebies and digiscrapping)

Now, here are my 7 nominees:

Bethany - http://elegantwordart2.blogspot.com/
Bonnie - http://silverrocketscraps.blogspot.com/
Deb - http://thescrappincop.blogspot.com/
Linda Walton - http://bonscrapatitdesigns.blogspot.com/
Pamela - http://digitreats.typepad.com/
Summer - http://summertimedesigns.blogspot.com/
Sheryl - http://www.azonefordigiscraps.com/

Another "I Love Your Blog" Award

Another, "I love your blog" Award and this time it's from Charlie.

Now I'm supposed to pass it on.

1.The winner can put the logo on her blog

2.Link the person you received your award from.

3.Nominate at least 5 other blogs.

4.Put links of those blogs on yours.

5.Leave a message on the blogs of the people you’ve nominated.

Here are some blogs I really love:

1. Aeryn - http://munchkinscrapsbyaeryn.blogspot.com/
2. Dnad - http://dnadryad.blogspot.com/
3. Gunhild - http://www.storeide.se/
4. Shannon -http://scrappyshannon.blogspot.com/

Brilliant Bog Award

Wow, thanks, Joni and Vicki for this award. You're blogs are brilliant too (of course you know it coz you got this award too).

Now it's my turn to nominate blogs.

I've been given an award

Thank you Kim!
Now I'm supposed to pass it on.
(Can I pass it to more than 5? There really are a lot of blogs that I truly love. LOL)
I'm passing it on to the following wonderful people:
1) Netta at CreativeVictorianDesigns - as I always say, she's my mentor in digiscrapping. She has sophisticated kits which I truly love. She's the one who taught me everything from uploading at 4shared to starting this blog. I'm really proud to be a member of her CT.
2) Kimberly Bartlett at fishinmomdesings - She's the reason why I discovered DSO and joined her challenges just to get her awesome prize for posting. Her kits are just so versatile from classy to country style, you'll always be amused with her creativity. I really love being in her team as well.
3) Carolyn Kite at scrap-n-tag - this woman is simply amazing. Whenever she releases a kit, I always say "Wow!" Her elements are one of a kind she has this "magic touch" that can transform an ordinary element to par excellence. Her kits are filled with so many elements that has several elements within. I mean, a single frame will have some ribbons, laces, flowers and other wonderful stuffs. Okay, go and get one to see for yourself. And yes, I'm one of the blessed ones to be in her CT as well.
Now, those three persons are currently MIA in their blogs, they must be concocting so wonderful kits to watch out for. So my list continues.
4) Sally at Winged Heart - Now, here's the girl who has been separated from birth (SAB) with me. We have lots of common...from our interest in writing to digi-scrapping, even our courses in college are "sisters". Long before we became Kimberly's CT members, I've always love to visit her blog and her kits which are so elegant.
5. Candy at scrapsofcandy - Here's someone who's name is the personification of her as a person. She has such a sweet face and smile. She's so sweet in leaving messages to my LOs and everything about her abounds with sweetness. She makes wonderful QPs too.
6). Vicki at digiLover - here another sweet and thoughtful lady who always has something good to say about my work. I love not only her blog but her classic features. She has such a beautiful face. She has amazing kits, QPs and LO in her blog, too.
7) Rusty at jackedurscraps - I guess, creativity's nickname is Rusty or could she be the embodiment of creativity? Either way, she has this amazing talent when it comes to making QPs and bragbooks. Now, she embarks in designing QPs and wonderful tube figure at scrap-n-tag. She never runs out of great ideas. This sister -n Christ is also known as CC (Called and Chosen).
