ADSDesigners September Collab Kit Freebie: Cornucopia of Colors

It's time again for another ADSDesigners Collaboration Kit. For October's blog train, we bring you "Cornucopia of Colors".

I signed up for this Collab kit but I just can’t get started because of the theme--harvest, which in one way or another is also associated with autumn. We have harvest here in the Philippines--usually it’s about rice harvest but no cornucopia. We don’t have four seasons as well, we only have dry and wet seasons—it’s just either sunny or rainy here.

One day, I saw a picture of a swing filled with flowers and I thought to myself, someday, I’ll ride in a swing filled with flowers too.

Light bulb moment!

Why not make a kit with a harvest theme in my other homeland…the Charleitopia. It’s the digi-scrapper’s fairyland. It’s a combination of Charlie (charlen49) and my name (lei). Charleitopia began when Charlie put her LO for June's Book of Me (BOM) Challenge at DSO--you can see that layout here. The BOM for that month was to tell something about yourself. In her journaling Charlie wrote that she believe in fairies (that's the first in the list). Then, I posted a comment:

Lei: Very nice OOB fairy wings. What a creative idea to bring out in your LO (you having the fairy wing) what you believe in--could it be that you are one of them too--a fairy like me, LOL.

Then, she replied:

Charlie: Maybe thats true Lei!!..lol

So, in Charleitopia, we had a bountiful harvest and we have our cornucopia to fill in with fruits and vegetables (I've never seen a cornucopia in real world, LOL--I just looked at some pictures to get an inspiration and I have to combine different filters to achieve the wicker which I think didn't look like a wicker). Going back to Charleitopia, after harvest, it was a really tiring day--we just ride and relax in a swing and rest in our mushroom houses afterwards. Okay, I have to make-up that story so that this kit will qualify for the harvest, state/country kit…at least in my own fantasy homeland.

And yes, my dream of swinging in a floral swing came true in this LO that I made using the elements from my contribution (wings and hair accent not included). It's just a mini-kit but together with the other papers and elements from this collaboration, you'll have a mega kit for Cornucopia of Colors.

Now, here's the freebie. I wasn't able to include the journaling scroll and frame cluster in the preview, but they are included in the download.
