I was not supposed to post today. But I was so excited that my layout was the "Pixie Pick of the Day" at DSO (digital-scrapbooking.org). I want to complete the 16 challenges at DSO for this month and I submitted my wedding photo layout for Kimberly's (aka fishinmom) Heritage Challenge. That was the one that gave me that title. LOL. Anyway, I just log-in there this morning just to post my LO for the Element Challenge when I read that message from Jenn.
Because I'm overjoyed. I was inspired to make another LO for the Ad challenge. This is dedicated to Jenn for bringing a smile in my face today. Life is beautiful, indeed. You see, I was sad yesterday. My husband is out of the country right now and it's the first time that we're not together on valentines day (we've been married for five years now and we've been a couple since Dec 1998). This LO is for DSO's Ad Challenge. I know this one is not an exquisite LO--it's just plain and simple. In fact, no single element is used in it. But after finishing this layout, it brings an inner peace in my heart and I was so bless with the simple pleasures of life that God has given me.
I guess what Joy (a DSO Designer and the AD Challenge host) said that "This ad made me feel so very warm and ready for spring-it actually takes the chill away when I look at it!" made me feel the same way too. Though there is no spring nor winter in the Philippines, the feeling of being refreshed crept inside my heart--maybe it's the color or just the words I put in my LO plus the Desiderata. I don't know but I'm providing it as a freebie QP for anyone who wants to put his/her own picture in it or you can put somebody else's picture as well to cheer him/her up.
This is the original photo for the Ad Challenge the rule is: "Use anything from this ad - colors, textures, sections, anything that inspires you!

I guess I'm overly inspired that's why I completely used everything in my layout. LOL.
The story behind the photo: I'm not comfortable having my pictures taken without any make-up but then again these pictures are one of the exceptions, they are my favorites. My husband is a hobbyist photographer and I'm his favorite subject. I told him I want my picture to be taken with the flowers. While I was composing myself what poses I would do and goofing about it. The shutter made continous shots and my husband captured these candid moments. I looked at it from the camera's LCD and I liked what I saw. I didn't mind to make another pose. My husband is so good in taking candid shots.
Now, here's the freebie. The size is 12x12 at 300 DPI. I guess, this is what life is all about...Enjoy!

Love this QP you made from your fabulous LO - thanks!
Thank you so very much for the beautiful template. Your LO is gorgeous and you look beautiful with no makeup. Your husband is also a very talented photographer. Thank you for sharing with us. :)
