New Layouts

Here are some more layouts that I've done lately for March Challenge at Digital Scrapbooking.Org.

HERITAGE CHALLEGE

Meg Goes Vintage

At first I was having a hard time doing this months heritage challenge. I don't know what photo to use. I looked at our pictures & mostly we're wearing tubes, spaghetti tops or T-shirts. Finally, I found my niece's "first communion picture" and it's just perfect for this since it's a milestone in her life too. This picture was taken a month ago (Feb 2008) and I love the way it turned out when I made it look like an old photo.

GRAB BAG CHALLENGE

Flower Girls

My nieces were my flower girls when I got married in 2002. These pictures were taken before and after they get dressed for the wedding.

SCRAPLIFT CHALLENGE

Thinking Outside the Box

My nieces' poses were great but the backdground where these were extracted was quite disappointing. These pictures were taken on a cluttered bed--with all the pillows, blanket and other stuffs on it. I knew from the very start that their photos were meant for extraction. I guess, the kids will be surprised to see this LO. During that time they both wanted to have solo pictures...only to find out that I will scrap and put all their solo photos in one page. LOL

SKETCH CHALLENGE

Wish Upon a Fairy

This picture is already old. This was taken either in 2001 or 2002 when my nieces were still pre-schoolers. I don't even know what were they staring at during that time but I put on a fairy on this layout and it turned-out good.
