The Spiderman Suit Story and Freebie (only for a limited time)

I mentioned in my previous post that I went home to my mother's place last week and I ransack some of our old pictures. LOL. Three of the pictures I got when were still small were that of my brothers wearing their signature costumes. Oaky here's a little childhood story.

"When we were still kids, my brothers--Lyndon and Leif--were known as the “brothers who were always wearing superheroes costumes.”The original spiderman suit was actually worn by the elder one, when he grew bigger, it was handed-down to our youngest. And anywhere we went during that time, Leif would never fail to wear that costume. Be it in a birthday party or a swimming/outing/picnic--the ever dependable Spiderman costume was always “ready-to-wear. It became is ultimate official “pang-alis”. Now, that he’s already a man, he never wear superhero costumes anymore but one of his interests includes collecting action figure Superheroes. He has lots of Spiderman figures. During his birthdays and Christmases, he never fails to get an action figure as one of his gifts. In fact, the Spiderman figures in this LO were actually taken from his collection."

I took some pictures of my brother's action figure superheroes collection last week and since I'm only using a point and shoot camera, I have difficulty getting the effect that I want of the other characters. But the spiderman figures are great. Next time, I'll shoot the others using our DSLR. Anyway, I scrap/made an LO of those pictures using my brothers Spiderman figures. Once I'm done extracting the four figures, I then made a background for my LO. Suddenly, I guess I've done a very mini kit. Then, I remembered my recently purchased commercial used product from Netta (at scrap-n-tag shop) which include a spider web frame. The first time I saw it, it made me think "what will I do with it?" because I was thinking of making a victorian type of kits--somehow, it's just a bonus element for the commercial use bundle that I bought. Then, I thought: "this is perfect for a halloween kit." Guess what, I was overwhelmed when I remembered that I have it and it will go well with this spiderman LO and VOILA! an instant kit was born as well.

As always, for my kits using licensed characters, this freebie will only be good for five days at the most. Since this is just for my own personal use and I'm just sharing it for some of you who may also want to have an LO with licensed characters but cannot find a high quality figures on the web.

BTW, I've been thinking about this for a week now. Many sent their regrets by not being able to get the Pooh & Company Kit because they come in late. So, I guess I will open the link once again but only for a limited time only.

This mini kit is fantastic and I love the story of your brothers.....and it reminded me that I had a cousin who was the same with his Superman cape.......lol. Today I suppose it is the same, not with action heroes, but with soccer shirts and the stars names on the back. I know my son was more into wearing such shirts.
Anyway thankyou big time for this great kit.
